    Doesn't get any better than this.

    This movie is an all time classic. There is an interesting history to his film. This screwball comedy was destined to bomb in the box office at the time of its release. Clark Gable was loaned out to Columbia in order to punish him for refusing to star in another picture. Claudette Colbert and Gable were at their best to ensure that this film would succeed. It Happened One Night won all the Oscars for 1934. The first of three films to boast this accomplishment.

    Blu-ray Edition is worth the extra money over DVD

    It Happened One Night is one of my very favorite movies. The Blu-ray edition is as clear as it can be, and the sound is good. I felt the extra blu-ray costs was worth it to have the best edition available. If you haven't seen this movie, its funny and romantic. The two leads (Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert) have wonderful chemistry. If you are a fan, you'll enjoy this newest edition on blu-ray. If you're in the market for a classic romantic comedy, this is the one to get. It will stay in your video library for a long time to come.
