Star Wars Force Awakens Poe Dameron's X-Wing Fighter Black and Orange version
Poe Dameron is the new X-Wing Ace of the Star Wars Universe. Big shoes to fill if you're going to compete with Red 5 Poe...he had force powers. To our knowledge you do not. But I like Oscar Isaac's portrayal of the character and have to admit, he kicked Imperial butt over Maz Kanata's place in TFA. As for his X-Wing Fighter in toy form I essentially have two opinions. First I'll tell you what I like. I like that it is a nostalgic nod to the original X-Wing Fighter toy by Kenner that I got for Christmas circa 1978. It does not have the red blinking light or sounds but other than that it has the same feel. It is sturdy and looks great on display. What I don't like, however, is the size. This thing needed to be bigger. Poe barely fits in the cockpit. The side guns are a bit flimsy ... Poe Dameron is the new X-Wing Ace of the Star Wars Universe. My xwing
Like everyone else my guns and nose were bent to heck. This isn't a quality issue. I'm certain they were straight when they were made. But all these toys were made so far in advance to be ready for the toy release in September that they were in conexs roasting for months. That is what bent them. That is why most micromachines are warped and tge packaging crushed. You can fix the guns with hot water. Mine stayed fixed for a few days but have returned to their cattywompus state now. Hasbro will exchange the guns. A quick google search will find directions. But they will not replace the nose cone that is also terribly warped.Like everyone else my guns and nose were bent to heck. Not sure how "durable" yet but my son loves it
My six year old loves this (the more expensive Millenium Falcon was this BIG hit though.) I liked that the Poe Daemeron figure could take on and off his helmet. My son liked that the BB8 was in there permanently but probably only because he has a loose BB8 action figure.

A must have! Best X-Wing
I really didn't expect much from this but I'm really impressed with this item. I purchased it for nostalgia and plus it was on sale. Once I opened it I was very pleased with the detail,size and design. The Poe figure is ok and he fits perfectly in the cockpit. I think I'll by the white version of this X-wing too.

Great item
Only one flaw is the soft plastic the guns are made of so they are tough to keep straight. Otherwise it is awesome!
