Product Information

Full of famous characters and free-range fighting, this game is designed to let Dragon Ball Z fans play through some of their favorite storylines. Following success of the Budokai 3D fighting series, Dragon Ball Z returns to PS2 and GameCube (and comes to Xbox for the first time) in this third-person action-adventure, which is based directly on the animated television series. Dragon Ball Z: Sagas lets gamers take the roles of five DBZ heroes -- Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Trunks -- and play through the first parts of the anime series' sophisticated storyline, from the Saiyan Saga through the Cell Games. <br><br>DBZ Sagas is designed to let fans explore open-ended areas featured on the television show. Random enemies and hidden items promote an "emergent," sandbox-style of play. Since the main game mode follows the plot of the animated series, the playable character changes through the adventure's 19 levels, according to the heroes featured in the different chapters of the story. Famous villains such as Cell, Nappa, and Raditz are featured as well, in boss battles that occur between the third-person adventure levels. Once the main game has been completed, new playable characters are unlocked, and gamers can revisit levels as any hero they wish, even if their choice doesn't make sense in the Dragon Ball Z timeline.

    Dragon Ball Z: Sagas

    This game is the third in the series and its pretty fun. Even though I would say its the worst out of the three. What is fun is the exploring around and fighting in a cool 3-d world and setting. To collect the dragonballs it may get alittle confusing though. Each stage has certain way to get each dragon ball so you may have to fly up a few hills to find one. The fighting is fun and also alittle frustrating sometimes. Sometimes they keep blocking kai attacks (energy blasting moves) so you have to find different fighting combos to knock them out then blast them away. What isnt fun is the ways how you have to figure out how to get each dragonball and how you have to save up to buy combos and certain moves. But other then that it is a fun game to play if your bored and beat your other games.

    Amazing Game!

    This game was so fun to play as a kid. Honestly I think I enjoyed it even more now as an adult. It's in my top 3 favorite Dragon Ball Z games. The game was in great condition.

    HAD TO PULL MY 10 YR OLD AWAY!!!

    I BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY TEN YR OLD SON AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. HE PLAYS THIS DAY AND NIGHT, SO MUCH I HAD TO PULL HIM AWAY FROM IT AND SEND HIM OUTSIDE TO PLAY WITH HIS FRIENDS. HE SAYS THE GAME IS SO AWESOME BECAUSE IT IS JUST LIKE THE SHOW AND YOU GET TO BE PART OF IT!! ALSO HE LIKES IT BECAUSE IT SHOWS CLIPS OF THE TV SHOW. THE GAME LOOKS LIKE ALOT OF FUN, AND THE GRAPHICS ARE BEAUTIFUL. MY 14 YR OLD RECCOMENDS THIS GAME ALSO BECAUSE THERE IS SHOW MUCH YOU CAN DO.

    Game didn't work

    Received game after a short time. Sadly it didn't work as it was scratched beyond repair. GameCube won't even play it
