Discover a World You've Only Imagined
This is a forgotten Disney animation film when Computer Generated Graphics were still a novelty. The movie is still good but I think the Ice Age franchise has done a much better job in telling stories. I bought this used on eBay and I had a problem with the sound. At 27 and 42 minutes the sound broke. It sounded like scratching; maybe my disc was dirty. Whatever the problem, it ruined the experience for me. There are a few special features but no trailers. There is a short music video of a nature film and the making of the amazing explosion effect. excellent family movie
This is a wonderful family movie. It is a very entertaining story for young and old alike. The characters are very personable. And very educational in getting the message of courage and bringing people together. Also teaches acceptance of others, not to judge based on one's looks and differences. An important lesson needed for young people today. It contains great animation and fun for the very young, as well as many witty lines to entertain the grown ups. Very easy to watch over and over again. Never gets tiring. Especially when young ones put on repeat. The high def quality of blu ray is awesome. I have the regular DVD and it lacks so much that the blu ray version offers.This is a wonderful family movie. It is a very entertaining story for young and old alike. A new version of "The Land Before Time"
This is a really good computer animated movie. Except the story isn't quite that original. It's almost the same story from the animated movie called "The Land Before Time" that came out in the 1980's. The dinosaurs have to travel from a place where there is nothing to eat, to what they call "the great valley" in "The Land Before Time". In "Dinosaur" they call it "the nesting grounds". And in both movies they are being followed by a large predator dinosaur.This is a really good computer animated movie. Except the story isn't quite that original.
