Product Information

In M&M's Beach Party, the candies that melt not in your hands host a selection of six summer-themed games, including volleyball and kayak races, as well as boardwalk favorites such as Ring Toss and Skee-Ball. Controls make use of the motion sensitive Wii Remote and are designed to mimic on-screen actions for intuitive, easy-to-learn play. Access to games and activities is spread out across a virtual summer island, which players can explore at their own pace. Seashells earned by conquering challenges in the game's single-player mode are used to unlock additional games and island activities. As in earlier M&M's games, playable characters include spokes-candy regulars Red and Yellow along with Green, Orange, and Blue.

M&M Beach Party(Wii,2009)
I played the various games with other family members. We all agreed it is cute with the characters. Skee-Ball and Ranch slam were the most fun and the easiest to learn. Skee-Ball was just like what you experience at fairs and etc,with a twist. In the background the characters were shown moved with points you got just like a horseracing format. Ranch slam was like a shooting gallery. The difference is you shoot your color to change grey M&Ms to your color. The trickiest game was the volleyball one. We found the main thing everyone had a problem with at first was getting the hang of serving the ball. The most challenging one seemed to be the kayaking. I bought this product for my kids to play. They like certain games on this disc. Could use a few more games to play though. Other wise it is a game that sounded more interesting than it really is. The maker should have also added the feature to open new upgrades to the games, which is how a lot of other games are made now. I think that would make this game more of a need to play game.

Boring Game
Played this game for 30 mins and even that was too long! Being an M&M fan, I thought this would fit nicely into my Wii game collection. WRONG! I feel like it was just a poor quality game. Graphics were okay. But the whole concept of the game was just unintresting. You are an M&M wondering aroung a tiny beach trying to collect shells that are in no way hidden, all the while having the opportunity to stop and play beach games. For as long as I have had my Wii, I have found that you just can't go wrong with the classic Wii games, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Decca Sports, ect.
