I was never a fan of this TV Series, but awhile back in a second hand store I found a part of season one in a rack for $1.99. My sister use to be in love with David Cassidy so I bought the DVD's for her. One evening when there wasn't anything on TV to watch I put in one of these DVD's and to my surprise I really enjoyed the shows which prompted me to buy the entire series for myself. I am nostalgic by heart and love taking trips back to my childhood and teens and I am so glad many of these old programs I watched as a kid have been rescued and preserved. The Partridge Family takes us back to the groovy 1970's when bell bottoms and paisley shirts were top fashion, an age during the Vietnam War when hippies were handing out flowers and preaching peace & love not war and women lib was ... The Partridge Family gave the 70's generation a few minutes each week to forget the turbulent world around them yet sent positive messages to their audience's through humor and music. Buying this TV series has given me smiles & laughter and to me thats money well spent.

Great memories with extra bonus features
I was looking to watch some good, old, clean fun amongst all the chaos and ugliness in the world right now. While I was growing up, watching the Partridge Family on TV was always such a treat. So, I decided to purchase the DVD set since streaming the entire series isn't possible. I looked around for good deals and did find some cheaper boxed sets but when I read the reviews, they all seemed to say the same thing. The discs played fine but the box itself was very flimsy and arrived beat up looking upon arrival. Even though I paid a little more for the one I purchased, I felt it was worth it. The shipping was really quick and it arrived to Hawaii unharmed. I loved seeing some of the extra features as well. THRILLED
Love it!!! Was so excited when it came in yesterday.....only to get home and find my power was out so I couldn't binge. Even more bummed that my portable DVD player won't hold a charge and went out after the second episode, and my laptop only lasted thru a few more. This is my new addiction!

David Cassidy was my very first teen idol crush and has always been my favorite singer! I was 7 years old when I saw him on ‘The Partridge Family’ in 1970! This collection has brought back my child hood and the memories that I will for ever ‘Cherish’ RIP in Heaven as you sing with the Angels my dear David Cassidy and thank you for the music and the memories! 😢❤️🙏🏻
