Ghost Rider is a good action escape movie
Let's face it - Ghost Rider (the character) is cool. That's why I rented the movie the first time. This movie is purely for escape - a fantasy in which you can get caught up and not really have to think. Even though I'm a girl, I don't want "chick flicks" when I need a break from real life. Blow something up or blow someone away - that's the way to go. And this movie blows up a lot of people and stuff. The special effects are really cool. Nick Cage is that perfect blend of hero, anti-hero and just plain crazy. (art imitating life?) What didn't I like? It's pretty much a cookie-cutter plot. (Though not nearly so bad as Steven Seagal movies)Luckily, about the time I'd start thinking about the lack of plot, NC's Johnny Blaze character would jump over bunches of trucks, or Ghost Rider would ... Let's face it - Ghost Rider (the character) is cool. That's why I rented the movie the first time. DECENT MOVIE OVERALL. WHEN IT COMES TO SUPERHEROES YOU EXPECT LOTS OF VISUALS,& STATE OF THE ART GRAPHICS. THIS MOVIE HAS SOME BUT DOES NOT OVERDO IT. NICE STORYLINE THAT IS NOT COMPLICATED TO FOLLOW. IN FACT MY 10 & 8 YEAR OLD BOYS LOVED IT. NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP DVD BUT ENOUGHT TO KEEP THEM INTERESTED. AT LEAST YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LANGUAGE,SEXUAL SITUATIONS,OR GRAPHIC VIOLENCE WITH THIS TITLE. Ghost Rider DVD
My som had this movie and I watched part of it...what I did see I liked. I decided I was going to buy a copy and where better to go than to EBAY. I have purchased other dvds on ebay and it is soooo much easier than running all over town searching for what you want. The prices are so much cheaper and hey...they come right to your door! I love that. I like this movie very much (didn't hurt that Sam Elliot was in it either). If I can buy movies at a very reasonable price, I would rather do that than run around renting them, having to watch them in a timely manner and get them back before they charge you more. A dark superhero
A film based on the Marvel Comic superhero 'Ghost Rider'. The film starts off with a young Johnny Blaze and how he sells his soul to the Devil for a cure for his father's lung cancer. Of course, the Devil kills his father anyway--and Johnny finds himself under 'contract' to the devil for his services. Years later, the Devil calls on him to fulfill his end of the 'deal' by going after Blackheart--the Devil's son, and Blackhearts three fellow demons. The film goes through the chase of Blackheart by Johnny and explains his transformation into the Ghost Rider and what his powers are with a surprising twist--Johnny gets help from another Ghost Rider, a man thought long dead, but saving his last change into a Ghost Rider for vengeance on the Devil. Ir is certainly one of the Marvel Comics better ideas--successfully made into a moyion picture.

The Ghost Rider
An Excellent story as I can remember reading the GHOST RIDER in the Marvel Comic Books when I grew up ( dating Myself- 12/18/39 ) and the story on the Dvd is even better than a VCR. Great loved it - I sent mine that I had before to a Lady friend that had not had the Oportunity to watch it an She was thrilled at the quality in the story.. Great Item..
