    For the right price and a patient reader, good choice

    I have seen poor reviews of this book on other websites, but as a beginner to photoshop I have a favorable opinion. This book contained a CD and the book is printed in color including the screenshots. Some versions of this same book apparently were not printed in color and did not contain the CD, so be careful of what version you are buying. This is a great overview of Photoshop, well organized, and topics are easy to find when you are looking for something specific. This is a book to learn from, so you will want reading time, this isn't the first book I would grab for a quick example, others are better. For the price of this book it is worth having on my bookshelf.

    Excellent

    I used this book toward the beginning of my graphic career and it really helped me alot. The book was easy to read, and had pictures to actually show you detailed instruction on what and how to do things properly. I kept this book to look back into it if i had any questions about Photoshop CS2. Highly recomended for educational purposes or non educational purposes!
