Product Information

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed mixes up the kart-racing formula by adding vehicles that transform from cars into boats and planes. As in Sega's previous all-stars racing game, tracks are based on popular Sega games, such as Super Monkey Ball, Panzer Dragoon, and After Burner. Many of the previous game's favorite characters return along with a number of new ones, including Gilius Thunderhead of Golden Axe and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia. Even real-life NASCAR star Danica Patrick and the title character from Disney's Wreck-It Ralph make an appearance.<br><br>When racing through the World Tour mode users gain experience points that upgrade each character and unlock racing mods that alter each vehicle's abilities. Players can also gain experience in the multiplayer modes Grand Prix and Battle Arenas. Multiplayer supports up to ten players online or four players in local split-screen. A new weapon system has been developed as well that gives players a better chance at blocking and evading attacks from the opposition. Available as a pre-order incentive, the bonus edition features the "OutRun Bay" track and the character Metal Sonic.

    Kids love this game

    My kids love playing this game. It has enough variation and fun to keep them entertained and coming back for more. Plus they all get to play together which is rare in newer games. Graphics are good and plenty of levels are available.

    great game for the whole family

    My 2 boys (3&6) love the game. Actually, we all enjoy playing against each other using the 4 player split screens. The graphics are a bit dated but the gameplay is great.

    Awesome Game

    Game play is fun, levels are challenging, my 7 year old loves playing this. SONIC games are always good!

    Fun for all!

    What an amazing and enjoyable game! Very challenging on hardest setting. It is a lot of fun for any age on the easy difficulty setting. I can play this game with my 4 year old, my 6 year old and my husband. My 6 year old plays it against his 70 year old grandma and everyone is having a great time!

    Great racing game for the whole family, young & old, to play simultaneously

    Great game for whole family. Especially so if you have young children. My 8yr old thoroughly loved the game. And best of all, every single mode can be played in 4-player split-screen style. So whole family can play even the career mode together simultaneously. For adults in need of a challenge, the A-Class mode is not as easy as it seems. Though C-Class was pretty easy for my kid. Do becareful if you are buying with a DLC as some regions DLC may have already expired. So check with the seller to be sure, unless you are forgoing the additional DLC content.
