Innovage (1604007) 2-Line Corded Phone
This phone is advertised as a two-line phone. It is NOT a two line phone, but a one line phone with two plugs on the back. The second plug is labeled "Data" and is simply a straight through connection from the input single line to the output data plug, to be used for other devices like a FAX, answering machine, or anything else you would use a Y line splitter (parallel connection) for. It just saves you the cost of a Y line adapter. It is a nice "one line" phone, with reasonable quality on the handset. The speaker phone mode leaves a little to be desired, but is usable. The touch pad is a nice way to dial. The talking caller ID is nice, except it does not start to ring until the third ring if the call is from a caller ID blocked phone. If the call is from an unblocked phone, it starts talking on the second ring, and rings after the number is spoken. The seller insists it is a two line phone because the instruction sheet included calls it a two line phone. However, the instruction sheet tells you how to work some features which ate not included or implemented on the actual hardware instrument.

cool phone
really cool phone! it's not a pseudo touchscreen that i was expecting. you know, the type that looks flat, but you end up actually having to push buttons hidden under the plastic. the face lights up when you use it so easy to use at night as well. didn't give it an "excellent" rating due to difficult to read LCD screen and doesn't have an AC adapter input so you could skip using batteries.

The only thing about the Innovage phone that makes it worth the time to write a review is that it's so poorly designed and made I can't think of anyone I dislike enough to recommend it to. Fresh out of the box you think, "This is sorta cool lookin'." - That's the last positive thought you're going to have about this phone and that thought will fade faster than a $40 automotive paint job. Some tips: 1) If you mount it on the wall, make sure its not in a high vibration area, like where someone may walk by on a wooden floor, otherwise the handset will likely end up on the floor. 2) Don't even think about dialing out if you have fat fingers, impaired vision or a hangover. The keypad is just that, a pad - not buttons, and it's quite unforgiving to the inattentive. 3) I had read several ... If you plan to put your phone in a room with a concrete floor where you walk barefoot most of the time; If you know you will never be DUI (Dialing Under the Influence); If you're psychic (or you only want to make outgoing calls) and, most importantly, if someone pays you to take this piece of junk off their hands, this may be the phone for you. In all fairness, I did convert my Innovage phone into a paper weight and it does a very nice job - cool lookin' too.

Cool Phone
I bought this phone for my mother who has macular degeneration and can't see well. I love the vocal call ID so that she can hear who is calling. The key pad lights up but not as much as she would like but she can use it. Also, it has a small footprint so it doesn't take up as much room on the desk as her other phone. All in all, it's a pretty cool phone.

Neat Idea but not that great.
I really like the idea of this phone and it looks nice but you can't see the screen very well and it would be better if the time and calendar lit up and it showed the name of the person calling not just the number. It would also be nice if the alarm had another option other than the buzzing sound. It says it plays music when you put someone on hold but you have to be a subscriber to something I guess. I just really don't like how hard it is to see the time and other things on the screen unless you are looking at it at just the right level. Would I buy it again?
