    mp3 player runs on AAA battery, perfect for plane, gym

    I love the Sansa mp3 player because it runs on a single AAA battery which lasts for a long time-- manufacturer says 19 hours. I use my player most often at the gym or on a plane, where recharging at a wall outlet is not possible, so I like the convenience of popping a new AAA battery in anytime. And if I want to be more environmentally friendly, I can always use a rechargeable AAA. I also used this player recently at a musician's conference that I attend every year. It has a record function that allows me to make an informal audio record of any session I attend. Again, the ability to switch batteries anytime means I don't have to worry about running out of juice in the middle of a class. The player is sufficiently small and light that I tend to wear the player on a string around my neck. ...

    Very easy to use and access favorite songs

    I used to own two of these mp3s ten years ago but lost them.Although it is only 2 gigs and limited space being an older player, This mp3 allows me to select by artist or album so I can play a block of songs by same artist or album so I don’t have to fish around for it(many newer players don’t have this feature.)Has recording feature.I also set it to custom with pop,jazz,rock or with with equalizer.

    Excellent with only one fault

    This is an excellent sounding unit, due to its high-quality output sound amp. This amp goes easily puts out 30 Hz bass, and natural, clear treble. The unit is easy to use, has an equalizer, plays songs randomly, and has other features I don't use. Best of all it runs on a single AAA battery for a long time. The only con is that it can make 'pop' noises before each song. This is not software, but rather occurs only if your headphones have a very high input impedance, such as the Bose QC-15. If your headphones are normal, and have a CD resistance less than about 200 ohms, then the pops don't occur. I recommend this player; I dealt with the pops by adding a 200 ohm resistance in parallel with my headphones!

    M260 Sansa

    I recently purchased the 4-GB M260. I have been using it with Rhapsody-to-go and with audiobooks downloaded from my library. It works well with Rhapsody to go (much better than my son's I-River did). Pros: * Price * Works easily with Rhapsody-to-go * Very little to learn, I had it working within a few minutes. * Remembers where you were when it was powered down (essential for audiobooks) Cons: * For audiobooks, it would be nice to have a bookmark. If I want to listen to anything else (or accidently hit the "next song" button), I have to start at the beginning of the book * Faster fast-forward/reverse (it is dreadful to lose your place 3 hours into an audiobook, and then have to get back at a speed only about 10x realtime).     SanDisk Sansa

    This is an outstanding MP3 Player. Its compact, stylish, abd mostimportantly- easy to use. It syncs easily to many music programs (including windows media) without the need to install any software first. this player includes an FM tuner, a voice recorder, and the 2 GB model can store up to around 900 songs in WMA format. the functionality and affordability of this product are really second to none. i, personally, chose the 2GB Sandisk Sansa m200 over the 2 GB Apple iPod nano that i've owned for almost 2 yrs. i gifted the iPod to my husband, whom is serving in Iraq, so that i could upgrade to something brand new and more user friendly. I hope that iPod gets lost in a sand storm or thrown in a fox hole because the Sansa REALLY has it beat!!!
