    An excellent tablet, the heft reduces it to 4 stars, functionally it is 5.

    This is the third tablet that I have owned and the best. Scrolling is very smooth and fast, excellent touch response, most pages load fast, videos run very smoothly, great screen resolution, battery lasts 6-10 hours depending upon what you are doing, auto screen intensity works well most of the time (sometimes it is a bit bright, but one can easily manually adjust), excellent WiFi sensitivity & locks on quickly, nice screen size, good selection of pre-loaded apps, Motorola has Android updates, so this is now running Jelly Bean. The only real negative that is tablet related is weight, this is a bit heavy. All Android tablets that I have owned have this same problem - the default browser does not work for all Websites. I use Opera as a back up and between the two, 99.9% of sites function.

    Good quality & robust

    Overall happy. My kids use it a lot. Only thing I didn't like it is the rca type charging jack which is attached to the charger. It's diameter is too small & is very delicate. It can break easily. So take extra precaution while charging. Especially when you have young ones running around. Also, please be aware that some of the online vendors will sell you asian version. Although a valid serial #, the charging transformer comes w/ wall adapter. You won't be able to plug in directly in US w/o that adapter. So please make sure it comes w/ adapter that goes directly in us version plug. Just a warning & confirm before buying so that you don't feel cheated. What I mentioned hopefully is true as far as US version tablet charger comes w/o any adapter.

    A nice representative 32GB Android tablet.

    I purchased this as a refurb by Motorola; it was in perfect condition. The first thing you will notice is that it is rather heavy as tablets go today. This unit runs much better unlocked and a custom ROM installed. You can obtain info on this on www.xoomforums.com or xda-developers.com. The tablet (once reprogrammed) is a fairly crisp machine; I am able to play HD games, and above DVD quality movies very well. As more apps become tablet aware, so will the user experience will get better than it already is. So, I would recommend this unit (if you can find it as it is being phased out by Motorola), just do your homework to find the best price.

    With the upgrade to android 4.1 there's tablets out there. Best for the $!

    Wow. Where to start? I am typing this from my Xoom right now and have to say I am thrilled beyond measure. With the easy upgrade to android 4.1 it runs like a dream. Always smooth, good sound, great camera, and very fast. My dad has an iPad, and sister a tablet PC, and between the three of us I've definitely had the best luck setting things up and using the device. For me the biggest plus was androids ability to handle everything directly from the device, something heavily lacking in iOS's handicap to iTunes. From the finest tablet I've used, Matthew

    TABLET that stands out in a dominated industry

    I Bought this tablet because i wanted a unique brand different form the usual SAMSUNG and APPLE tabs people have. What is unique about the ZOOM is that it has a very large screen good for movies and it is High defination and wow the Camera is picture perfect What i dislike about the ZOOM is that it does not have a slot that works for a SIM CARD, Wifi must nt be the only source of internet. I woukld definatly buy another 1 i rate it as 90% the ultimate tablet.
