    I wanted this book...and how it met my expectations

    I love to create functional fabrics through the process of crochet. I have always wanted better guidelines from an expert about how to fit a pattern. I can imagine in my mind a number of textured stitches and colors coming together. But, the third element of fit was elusive. When I heard of this book, I began to look for an affordable source to acquire it. After I found one and actually received the book I was not disappointed. This book is the 'fitting' bible for drafting the sizing of crochet garment work I have been looking for. I tried other books and pamphlets. They give directions for changing number of stitches, thread gauge or hook size. This book is different. It also offers a number of different projects to demonstrate the fitting TECHNIQUES.     Title accurately reflects contents of book.

    Lily Chin has always been one of my favorite crochet pattern designers. In this book she shows you step by step how to create your own patterns fitted to your body, or anyone else's. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to create unique and usuable crocheted garments. This book also contains several exciting patterns that make it a great book to buy just for that reason alone.

    Couture Crochet Workshop

    This is a great book. It contains a number of ready to make crochet clothing patterns, but more important it teaches you how to create our own patterns using professional techniques for a custom fit. Some of the patterns could be easily done by the new crocheter, but many are more advanced, but very explanitory and could be completed by a novice with patience and understanding. This book really helps to unleash the creativity in the crocheter.

    Very informative book for anyone wanting to learn the couture approach

    Lily is such an inspiration. I am trying to obtain the knowledge required to create my own patterns for clothing, or adjust printed patterns to create something different. I have her Mosaic Crochet tutorial and love it!!!! Her instructions are very easy to understand and to utilize. Great book!!!!!

    Beautiful clothing and very elegant items. Good book. This author always puts out some excellent books with original and lovely items to make.
