NORTH sees Matchbox Twenty driving their pop-rock sound further forward; magnifying the indelible melodies, crafty lyricism, and glorious hooks that have always defined their multi-platinum body of work. The band -Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale - lived together last Summer in a house in Nashville where they all collaborated on the new material before once again joining forces with the Grammy Award winning producer Matt Serletic at his Emblem Studios in Calabasas, California. The result of their labors stands among Matchbox Twenty's finest, with songs like "Overjoyed" and "Put Your Hands Up" marked by the band's instantly identifiable sonic approach and unadulterated high spirits. NORTH marks Matchbox Twenty's fourth full-length studio recording and first all-new album in a decade.

    Sensational Like Always.....Go Matchbox 20 !!! Great CD!

    Was not disappointed at all with the NORTH CD; couldn't be any happier (than a "Slinky" on an escalator) now that Matchbox 20 is back at it again. Can't wait for tickets to go on sale in my area in the mid-west for their new tour. Judging from other fan feedback I've seen lately, everyone is really happy with the new songs on North, and, the band after 10 years.....Better Than Ever!

    Another great work of Rob Thomas.

    Rob Thomas's has the ability to articulate matters of the heart into a work of lyric mastery. North, like all his previous musical accomplishes, explores the different landscapes of love. He does not disappoint his admirers. Every human being has the same longing in their heart and Rob does an excellent job at describing the aches and joys of loving someone and the human experience of existence and feeling of belonging.
