  • Great ideas for PMC

I've taken several classes to use PMC. I love working with the stuff but felt I needed to do different things with it than the teacher was showing. I guess she and I had different ideas of what was beautiful. She liked dark or colored silver and I liked bright smooth silver. I've been researching different books and didn't care of the projects in most them. I then got this book from the library and knew it was something I wanted to own. This book matches my ideas of what I would like to do with PMC. Using syringe PMC to make rings and hollow beads with the help of cork. Adding stones and making bright silver jewelry that's sure to wow anyone. I'm so excited I can't wait to get my hands on some PMC and try some of the Ideas shown in this book. I work at a beading store and we are ...

  • Superb guide to creating metal clay jewelry!

This is one of the first books about metal clay I've read that covers both PMC (Precious Metal Clay) and Art Clay products. The up-front section includes extremely well-written basic techniques as well as lots of sidebars with genuinely helpful tips. As with any book that includes projects, some of the projects appealed to me a some didn't, but all of them were excellent examples of how to incorporate multiple techniques and I found all of them to be valuable learning tools. I own nearly every book written about metal clay to date, and I can recommend this one without reservation.

  • Best of four books on this subject

This book is more thorough and easier to understand than three other books that I bought on the subject. Projects are shown in photos and described clearly in writing. Handy tips on how to handle various forms of precious metal clay, too.
