This 323 page hard cover book is a collection of 50 oral history interviews of religious women. This book offers an inside look at how these women survived and actually embraced the changes that came to every aspect of their lives. Some of the stories are revealing and often poignant. Some of the women interviewed are nationally known, Sister Joan Chittister, a Benedictine who has written many books about the Catholic Church and religious life, and Sister Theresa Kane, a sister of Mercy who publicly addressed Pope John Paul II on the subject of women in ...
