    read this book years ago. bought this copy for a friend who is looking at a possible cancer cluster in her hometown. A great book !

    I loved this book, because it introduced me to the world of law; what clients have to go through in the legal process, and the personalities of lawyers; that is, those who are sincere and those who are game players. This is truly one interesting book, and also comes on dvd. It is really an introduction to the world of Law, especially to a novice law student. Every new perspective law student should own this book. This is the textbook of all law courses, a very good introductory book to the world of law. This educational and precise book, teaches the world of law to all experienced, non-experienced, and professional persons. A Civil Action will introduce the new law student, of how the lawyers prepared their strategies to win the cases here. All Paralegals should also own a copy of A Civil ...

    A must-read for every engineer on the planet

    Earlier this year, I was taking a professional course from my employer, and the Instructor mentioned that this book was a must read for every engineer. I saw the movie based on this book years ago, and I really liked it (maybe because my fanaticism to Travolta and the spectacular cast in it). I started reading the book, and that Instructor was absolutely right! It has every technicality an engineer will apeal to, plus the legal portion, which is amazingly described in detail. And, of course, the human portion: how innocent civilians were being intentionally poisoned by these companies in MA.

    A Civil Action

    I purchased this book for my environmental law course. This book is excellent and the writing isnt boring at all. It brings you in to the town of Woburn and let you see the perspectives of the families that are impacted by this disease and what the companies around them. It also show the prospective of both side of the law: one who defends the families and one who defends the companies. I really enjoy this book and look forward for more books to read like this one.
