This 'unanimated cartoon' is worse than a 1950 Godzilla movie - terrible!
This cheap little low-budget satire is one of the worst films I've ever seen. The first problem involved is all the liberties they've taken with the story. It's a hopeless jumble of the Bible's flood story, the biblical Sodom/Lot narration, and a lot of fiction that has been randomly tossed in. Really sloppy. In fact, the story is mostly just Hollywood invention, only loosely based on biblical stories. (Although an attempt to make fun of the Bible I think the discerning viewer will tend to laugh more at the director!) Secondly, the production is not a drama; it has more of the feel of an "unanimated cartoon". The comical music adds to the effect. I only saw the first half actually - the quality threshold dipped so low I just threw it away. This attempt at humor won't please any audience ... noah's ark
I watched this movie last night and to me it makes for a very bad tasting movie. they make fun of the bible and to me that's a no-no. I thought abraham was the one who asked God to save gomorrah, not noah. The son's were married before they came into the ark. The same with building the ark, where in the bible dos it say God finished the ark? Before the flood came God Himself closed the ark and all the people were in there. The son's didn't have to get their girlfriends out of the water and knock her unconscious first. All the other people drowned, where did the peddler come from and Lot with his cronies,(give me a break)? The same with sending out the raven, noah opened up a window as told by God and then the dove. Noah's wive showed herself as a 5'4" Almighty, that to me borders on ... To me the son's and even Noah's wive didn't seem to share the faith Noah had for the Lord, although I didn't particular like the way he talked to God, and even the way God talked to noah didn't sound right. there seemed to be no respect. I'm sorry that there is a movie out like that. It cost me a night sleep, I don't recommend this movie at all, marianne

Noah's Ark is a bad movie that makes fun of the Bible
I had to buy Noah's Ark to replace a broken rental. I NEVER would have bought that movie, otherwise. The movie makes fun of Noah. For example, the following are ways that the movie was ill-conceived. For one, while on the Ark, a peddler comes by and sells Noah liquor. Noah then lies to his wife telling her it's for medicinal purposes only. He then tells his wife that God says there is to be no sex on the boat. (Not true). In the Bible, Noah's sons and wives went with Noah and his wife on the Ark. In this movie, the guys are not married and are chasing the girls around trying to deflower them. It's a disgusting movie that only veers slightly in the beginning, but then begins mixing stuff around and in the end finally just mocks the Bible. Oh yeah! I can't leave out the part ... worthless trash
This is got to be the worst movie I have ever reviewed it has no Biblical authority what so ever and the acting is terrible beyond compare. I really cannot believe that supposedly being a Christian that Jon Voight would take part in something this bad and is a dishonor to GOD'S Holy Word ! They would have us believe that Noah was witness to the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah when it was Abraham who was the one GOD told He would destroy those cities and Abraham was Lot's uncle not Noah. I wish that I could rate this movie 0 stars as it truly doesn't deserve the one star rating.I hope all who truly Love the Lord JESUS CHRIST and GOD Almighty will seriously think twice before purchasing or renting this movie if you Love the TRUTH of GOD'S Word you will be ... It's a movie, not a documentary.
I am a Catholic/Christian and personally took no offense to the movie or the actors in the movie. Any offense taken by those who feel it made a mockery of God or the bible is ludicrous. It's a Hollywood production, that being said, you can't expect any movie, except for documentaries to be 100% accurate. After all, isn't God supposed to be our friend? Do all you "Bible thumpers" think God has no sense of humor?? And if he took offense, as some of you have, he would never allowed it to be published. Live and Let Live I say and take it for how it is meant to be, a form of entertainment with no intentional slur on Gods' good name by anyone, including the actors. If you need to, watch only Disney movies. Ooops you can't do that either, they have magic and witches in them too.
