Amidst an L.A. landscape of drugs and guns, THE WASH is a comedic working class update of CAR WASH. Written and directed by D.J. Pooh, the film is set to a pounding hip-hop soundtrack, and is populated with numerous rappers including Xhibit, Ludacris, and Eminem.Mild-mannered Sean (Dr. Dre) is under financial stress, is getting no play from the opposite sex, and is without a car since his just broke down. Dee-Loc (Snoop Dog), his roommate, is a troublemaker who smokes and deals pot and works at a local car wash. Despite their vast differences, their friendship stands strong. Dee-Loc throws Sean a bone by getting him a middle-management job at the car wash. But Sean's easy adjustment to an authoritative position and his positive rapport with the boss, Mr. Washington (George Wallace), immediately puts a strain on his relationship with Dee-Loc. The old friends now find themselves at odds with each other both at home and at work. Personal conflicts are soon shoved aside when Mr. Washington is kidnapped by two moronic neighborhood pranksters. Sean and Dee-Loc unite with their co-workers at the wash to rescue their boss. (Eminem plays a psychopathic ex-employee who terrorizes Mr. Washington.)

The Wash (2002, DVD)
Written and directed by DJ Pooh - who also plays Slim - the comedy features Dr. Dre (Sean) and Snoop Dogg (Dee Loc) as friends who have had bad breaks and made some poor choices, but stumble upon one last opportunity to get things together under some very bizarre circumstances. The cast is heavy into hip-hop, with Xzibit, Eminem, Kurupt and Truth Hurts having parts big & small. Other actors include Pauly Shore, Tommy Chong, Shaq and George Wallace (as car wash owner, Mr. Washington). The action mostly takes place at a car wash in Los Angeles, with Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg being a surprisingly good comedic duo. And Eminem - as the fired assistant manager with major issues - is hilarious in his brief appearance. It is a wacky plot with over-the-top scenes and actors who are obviously having a ... It didn't have the soundtrack disc, only the movie in the case, I sent three text messages at the time regarding it, I want to if another can be sent with both movie and soundtrack, that's what I paid for, thank you:

Very Misleading.....
When I looked to buy this DVD, 2002, 2-Disc Set; Includes Audio Cd. When I looked thru the page, it had this whole description of the movie, the actors, the music etc, etc, it took the whole page to write all this stuff, and you can see for yourself it said 2 DVD's Disc set; Includes Audio CD, but when I purchased it, it only came with 1! Lied about it. It only came with 1 DVD the movie, not music DVD. Very misleading. and Very Wrong. I was upset at the time but what could I do I wanted the movie. But the seller should not have listed it with 2 Disc DVD set. That is wrong. The DVD was in great shape and so was teh cover, but there was no 2 DVD's. I was angry. The seller sold it to me for $3 plus $3 shipping, I guess there was nothing I could do. Now that I am learning about all these ebay ... Never in a thousand years would i want to see this agai
The Wash has so many flaws its unbelievable. The plot is unoriginal and the urban thug setting feels artificial. Save your 96 minutes to check your email or wash your car.
