BEAUTIFUL GLOSSY COLOR PHOTOS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BOOK
I purchased this book for my mother, who can both knit and crochet. However, she prefers to crochet. Most of the patterns are crochet patterns. (I'm not certain of the percentage, but estimate it is approximately 55-65% crochet.) My mother absolutely loved the book! I don't knit or crochet, but I also loved the book! Each pattern has two complete pages, with more than 1/2 page of a color photo of each hat and very well written, easy to follow instructions. Each page is printed on very high quality heavy paper stock, with beautiful glossy photos! I highly recommend this book to anyone that crochets or knits...from beginner to advanced! Great Find!
This book has several different types of hats that I wanted to learn how to make. I was very happy to find everything I needed within this one book.

100 Hats, Mostly Crochet
The book has 2 failings: 1. There are hardly any projects for men (but I expected that,) and 2.) TOO MUCH CROCHET! ;) I can both knit and crochet, but I am a better knitter - however MOST of the crochet wasn't incredibly complicated and if you are at an "easy/intermediate" level you should be able to do most of the projects. I don't know why "knit" was before crochet in the title, but there are not a lot of knitting projects, comparitively. Still, it was a very fun book, and I saw several hats which were really fun and there really was something for every season of the year. Definitely a good book to have on your shelf of pattern books, and I recommend it to any crochet-er or someone who is talented in both knitting and crochet. I like the book. I found this book gives a lot of good ideas on designing different hats.The book was clean as stated and full of colorful pictures with instructions. I really liked the first 4 pages of pictured index which I can see all hats at a time.

100 Hatsc to Knit & Crochet
I saw this at the library and HAD to have it. Majority are crocheted-but I am more of a crocheter. It is very well formatted and good for all levels of expertise.
