Great Live Album
This is a great album if you have seen Underøath live. I wasn't interested in this album until I saw them in SLC, UT. Then I had to have this album. I think it's great how it comes with a DVD of the show, and a CD just for listening later. The CD isn't the best quality (duh it's live!) and you pretty much have to know all the words to the songs from their previous professionally mastered albums, to enjoy it. The guitars are really loud, and the vocals are kinda quiet. Spencer pretty much just uses his monotonic scream through the whole thing which is a little disappointing. Except on the DVD near the end of the show he really gets into it and starts varying his screams. And that's one thing about the DVD that I was kinda surprised at - when I saw these guys in SLC the place was NUTS! But ... This is a great album if you have seen Underøath live. I mean they do, but their NOTHING like the SLC crowd for sure. It's not until the end of the show where everybody is getting into it and the energy starts flowing. Spencer even asks the crowd if they are "still awake out there" - something that he never asked of SLC. But over all it's really cool. During Salmarnir on the DVD there is some weird imagery that is sort of confusing, but I think it is supposed to be that way. Once again don't buy this until you seem them live!

Survive, Kaleidoscope DVD
I'll do a quick one cause it's late :) I gave an excellent rating because i personally felt that UnderOath was awesome throughout the entire show. The show started as a video the band came out. Very intense. Everything was spot on and the band was just so tight. The mixing of the sound was also done very well. The visual and audio quality was also very good. If you've watched the whole show, you would have noticed that "Young and aspiring" was labeled as "Returning empty handed" which isn't much of a big deal. Amazing!. This CD really shows that Underoath has tons of energy on stage, and have a powerful live performance. In some cases live CD's dont give you the excitment you want but I can promise you Survie Kaleidoscope will! The DVD will keep you watching the whole way through with a great set list including every song fron Define The Great Line. Also the CD is very exciting because they are the same songs, however they are taken from various shows of the tour. A definate 5/5!Amazing!. This CD really shows that Underoath has tons of energy on stage, and have a powerful live performance. nice album!!
Underoath is my Favorite band ever!!! lov the sound. i could definitely say that UNDERØATH is more than a band... its a music genre. They are scremo, hard rock sometimes, metal, and they have a typical music lyrics that really defines them as a band. I love the track names; they are so original. The track name a most like is: A boy brushed red... Living in black and white...
