    One of the best I've read in a long time.

    Book was in excellent condition and a great value. The author involved us with the characters without sacrificing a suspenseful plot. Well-written and I was sorry to leave it.

    Australia's drought-fraught landscape and a teetering town's desperation skillfully evoked.

    Very satisfying mystery to read and to discuss. It explores the power of lies and their aftermath to corrode relationships and skew a person's subsequent life.
