    Dogs: Our shared love.

    Mary Oliver knew how to translate the things we all see and feel into words we all can understand. She made us understand our own experiences b sharing her words. Her death was a terrific loss.

    Treasure for Dog Lovers

    For anyone who loves, or has ever loved, dogs, this collection of poems is a real gem. It is poignant, funny, and beautifully written. I have given 6 of these books to friends. Reading time is only an hour or so, but worth re-reading (often!).

    She knows dogs and brings you to them

    You don't have to be a poetry buff to enjoy any of Mary Oliver's works. She writes beautifully and insightfully about human experience in a deeply meaningful way. This book about dogs is tender and funny and not to be missed if you're a canine fan.
