    Cup of Poison

    Theodosia and her employees at the Indigo Tea Shop,are asked to host tea at the Annual Historic Homes & Garden Party. The beautiful event is marred by a guest who is found dead with a cup of tea still in his hands. When poison is found in his teacup all does not fair well for Theo. She is worried that she may begin to lose customers who think she or her employees had anything to do with the poisoning. Unsatisfied by the investigations of the local police, Theo begins her own, and in the process she puts herself in grave danger. Charleston is a beautiful setting for this murder and so as you follow along with Theodosia's sleuthing, you are treated to facts about the history and culture of not only the city but of the world of tea.     Super mystery books to read

    So far on the 3 books I have read in this series, I find writing just excellent. It's a great series & when I can afford it I will order more of these fine books.

    wonderful light mystery using tea as the thread !

    Love this author, Laura Childs, and all her books. these mysteries are delightful. I bought this one for a friend. perfect books for reading on the beach - as I discovered last year. hope to read them all, and purchase the rest of them on ebay!
