    The message bible

    The message bible is a great addition to our family's bible study time. We read in the king James and the nkj but then also use the message bible for further understanding, it lets you see the lesson in a completely different light. It is also great for new Christians. It is a paraphrase from an author who is obviously true to the bible. I highly recommend

    Good Paraphrase

    Shipping - It was fast in getting to me. Product description did a great job of telling me what exactly what I woudl get and did get. The Message is a good paraphrase in today's English. It is easy to read and gives an interesting view on Proverbs, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Soloman. This Bible is great for daily reading in order to just enjoy reading the Bible. It is not a study Bible as one would find in the KJV, NKJV, ESV, NIV, and other true translations. But it serves its purpose in getting people to read the Bible and create a desire to delve more into the Bible and understand it in more detail when you pull in the real study Bibles.

    The Message

    Had been wanting The Message translation for a while but put it off until i needed to give a message using it. it's GREAT this paperback is now my everyday bible. Even though it's paperback it's still of great quality! Lucky for me i have good eyesight, if you can't read small letters with ease i would maybe go for something different. LOVE IT!

    Bad Translation

    This is not a legitimate translation. It even has occult teaching right in the Lord's prayer. The author seems to think he can make the Bible say whatever he wants. Typical deception for the end times we are in.

    Print too small

    Need a magnifying glass to read. Even with my readers the print is way too small. Probably give it to someone else that can read it. Bible itself is good.
