    An authoritative source on the enneagram

    I first encountered the enneagram several years ago when I was seeing a counselor who had studied under Riso and Hudson The experience was quite illuminating in many ways. This book was a useful supplement to those sessions. I have recently found renewed interest in the enneagram and what it can teach me about myself and thus have finally acquired my own copy of the book. If you're ready to delve more deeply into the enneagram, this book is a highly recommended resource from two authorities on the subject.

    Fantastic resource on the Enneagram

    I poo pooed the Enneagram for years ... and missed out big time. It's such a powerful tool in understanding self, others, relationships. And this book is the best I've found on the subject.

    Increase awareness about yourself with the Enneagram

    The Wisdom of the Enneagram is a fantastic guide to understanding our own personality. Enneagram, latin for nine types, concentrates on the 9 basic personality traits and makes us more aware what can hold us back in life. There are two different tests in the book that help you determine your personality type. Once you know your type, read the chapter pertaining to you, especially the Jump Starts, Wake-up Calls, and Red Flags. After you become better tuned in to yourself, read up on other types to better understand your relationships with other people. This book can change your life if your open to understanding yourself, down to your very core. This isn't a book you read once and put on the bookshelf - you will refer back to it everytime you find yourself in a situation that you don't ...

    Improve yourself and the world around you

    Fr. RIchard Rohr (Center for Action and Contemplation) recently did a series on the Enneagram and I found it fascinating. If there is any way to improve myself to better serve God and community, I'm all for it.
