Great pricing. Arrived in good condition, as there was no writing inside, torn pages, binding still intact, etc. Slight oxidation but that is to be expected. Front cover had slight creasing, but that's within the "good" condition parameters. Honestly, I'd rather buy books here than new retail or at Half Priced Books. I recently bought four books from this seller, and their conditions were as expected. You can truly trust the listing's description. I 100% recommend purchasing books from here.

a true treasure is this marvelous journey of wisdom & laughter forever.
I'm not one for organized religion, but poet monk Thich Nhat Hanh caught my heart by surprise and opened my mind. I keep it with me all the time as there is no page I can open that doesn't gift me with a surprise and bring me into the moment of love beyond my own fears. i finally accept and appreciate the balance of suffering and impermanence as part of life that allows us to also be in the movement of joy and creativity. it is just the beginning for me and i probably will be reading this for the rest of my life, but happily Thich Nhat Hanh feels more like a wise friend who loves to laugh. i can now see myself as part of this amazing journey, a tiny spec of energy but still an important part of this great flow and spirit of life. i know we are all on the path, but it is so wonderful to ... Condition not as described
I am really enjoying reading this book. It is insightful and offers guidance to the teachings of Buddhism. I am disappointed though that the book has writing in the margins, numerous passages underlined throughout and personal notes to someone I'm guessing the original reader wanted someone to read. It is a bit distracting. The description failed to state that there was writing on the pages.

Beautiful intro to Buddhism
A poetic & heartfelt account of the Buddhist path from a Monk who embodies the compassion & wisdom that the Buddha taught over 2500 years ago. Author Thich Nhat Hanh was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for good reason. This is an excellent intro to Buddhism!
