    Great Library book for HS

    GOt this book b/c we couldn't keep this book in the library and the students wouldn't return it. I haven't even had time to accession into the library b/c kids saw it and now it's on it's way to many students. THe price was right for my low paying job, but I wanted to keep the kids reading. And this book was near the top of the reading requests. So hopefully I might even find more of this kind of book so students will keep reading more. This was one of the books used when kids were in alternative school or detention and kids would read and it has caused many that have gotten hooked on reading. This is such a pleasure for me. You can never be depressed if you can get into a good book and go anywhere you want as long as you can imagine. Thanks, thanks. Book was also in great condition but ...

    It happened to Nancy

    I read this book in high school and anyone who knows me knows I'm not a reader but this book... Well it really opened my eyes and made me think twice about dating older guys and even having relations. This book had me in tears but I'm happy Nancy let us in her life to teach us about all the collins out there. I have three girls now and I assure you they will read this book. Prayers out to Nancy's family and friends.

    ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER 3

    It was so sad to read about a typical teenage girl who fell for an older guy. I discussed this book with my friends and we all agreed that if an older guy was giving us the time of day, we would fall for him. What girl wouldn't want an older boyfriend? That's what I thought until I read this book. When Nancy met Collin who was four years older them her, she fell in love with him. Though I would find it suspicous that I could never go to his apartment, I thought the story he told her was very convincing. When he raped her and gave her the HIV virus, her life went into a downward spiral. In her last few years of life, you follow her through touching and embarassing events, as well as many sad ones. I never cry when I read books or watch movies, but this one got to me. I recommend this book ...

    It happened to Nancy is a book every youth should read

    I really loved this book! I've also read "Go Ask Alice". These books are books that every youth should really read. When I was a teenager and read Go Ask Alice it really change my perspective on drug use. I would most definitely suggest that my children and their friends read these books. Its really sad what happened to these girls, but it also gives others a fighting chance at knowing what does happen from others who have went through it. I just really loved this book I don't know what else to type about it. Just wow.. they really blew my mind!!

    it happened to nancy

    i read this book in high school and i think it's a book that everyone should read. i dont really like reading at all, but when i read this one for a project i couldn't take my hands off it. it'll keep your attention and have you wondering what's going to happen. for it being a true story it's interesting to hear what the victim thoughts really are. you really feel for the victim as you read. highly recommended for anyone seeking a true story of a tragedy. A+++
