Funny and adventurous.
Every night I read Percy Jackson to my 8 & 10 year old boys. All 3 of us love the sarcastic, funny, and interesting adventures. We are all learning more about Greek mythology and seeking other books full of myths to read as well. You will not be dissapointed. It has the magic and world of Harry Potter, I feel it's the Harry Potter of their day.

Brand new but old cover art
The book is definitely brand new, but it's with the original cover art and not the new one as pictured. Please update the listing photo so that it shows that. My daughter is happy to have the 4th book. She has the second and is currently reading the third. But those books have the newer art on the cover. if you're reading this review, you know that the newer cover art forms a puzzle/picture when you collect all the books. Welp, this book will be the odd one out. As long as my daughter is happy that's all that matters. I bought this book from you because that was the book I needed with that exact cover picture. I got the book but it wasn't the cover page like the picture showed. So for me useless as I borrowed a book from a friend and I wanted to return the new one with the same cover. I could have bought that book anywhere else. Not happy - sorry.

The Battle of the Labyrinth
I have been reading the series about Percy Jackson written by Rick Riordan. It is really interesting the way he combines the real world with the Greek world of the gods. He makes Greek Mythology interesting where you want to understand it better. You don't get Greek Mythology in school anymore. He makes it fun to read by adding little quotes of thinks that happen or thoughts that you yourself would of thought about. It is wonderful reading for all ages, the young at heart. They have a movie coming out in January 2010 of the first book he wrote about Percy Jackson The Lightening Thief. I hope they will do all the books he has wrote like they did with Harry Potter. It's ok
The book showed some damage. The cover wasn't in a good condition but it has all the pages and they are readable. Good for the price but don't expect something brand new.
