Easy Peasy
I've always wanted to learn to paint. Without the number that is! I was taking cake decorating courses at the time and when I saw Donna on one of the shopping channels and saw how easy she made it look, I thought it looked a lot like cake decorating minus the cake. The next day I went to a neighboring town and bought a ton of Donna's products including the individual reusable training sheets that you just wipe clean with a paper towel. My favorite thing is vines with rosebuds and my own scruffy brush baby's breath filler and wisteria. Fill it in with whatever and you will be patting your own back. I'm still learning too. I get hooked on one thing for awhile, then change. I've never changed from her product because it's so creamy and the brushes hold a chisel edge that starts and ends so ... I get a little wild with my scruffy brushes and I'll never do swirls as good as Donna. I've always liked to color and shade the light on the petals. Now I can do it in ONE STROKE!

All thumbs, but still a painter
Practicing my strokes and trying to make the perfect roses, I wanted some way to display my work. I was delighted when I could actually paint flowers that looked like flowers and wanted to share them with family and friends. I didn't think they'd want to put them on the refrigerator, but they aren't quite frame quality. This book is full of practical ways to use the art. There are so many designs to use and I can paint gift boxes or baskets, flower pots, various containers, and I have painted some of the designs on card stock to make my own, one of a kind, greeting cards. For someone with close to NO artistic ability, this is a really good thing. A couple of the instructions were a bit confusing, but with the pictures it was fairly easy to figure it out. Very detailed step by step has a page included you can practice the technique on. Very helpful. I am very happy with my purchase.
