Dana is a perfumery house founded in 1932 in Barcelona, Spain by the lawyer Javier Serra. The company headquarters was relocated to Paris and due to the German occupation of France during the World War II, finally settled in the United States. Dana launched series of notable classic fragrances between the 30’s and 50’s. The company's first perfume - Tabu, was created by the famous perfumer Jean Carles, who was influenced by the oriental scents and aromas. A timeless men's cologne
In High School, we called it IPR. It is well liked by the ladies. A fragrance that never goes out of style. I wear it when out in the field plowing or mowing on the Massey-Ferguson or when lounging around the house having a cold Yuengling, or out on the town when pub crawling. Only a drop or two is needed. Don't over do it...the fragrance should be subtle not overpowering. I even wear it to bed...Ginger the wonder dog (6 lb Chihuahua-Terrier mix) loves it.In High School, we called it IPR. Canoe, it always makes you smell wonderful
I had a dajavue moment a while back. I caught a whiff of a fragrence I had not smelled for about 35+ years. I immediately went to ebay to see if I could find a bottle of this memory maker. It took about 1 minute to find a pristine bottle of Canoe EDT for men. I bought it on the spot. I put some on and wore it to my weekly trivia gathering and most of my team said what is that cologne your wearing? It seems so familar. When I told them it was Canoe, everyone wanted to know where I found it. The best part of this story is, we are all over 60 years old, and we all remember Canoe as a favorite from long ago.
