One Fannie Flagg's masterpieces
Fannie Flagg is an extraordinary writer and creates colorful, engaging 'real' characters who draw you into her stories. This is just one of her masterpieces. I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person and found her as charming as her novels.

Fannie gets a 5 star rating
When I first viewed the movie, I loved every minute of it. I never bothered to notice that the movie was from the fannie flagg novel till just recently. When I found this information out, I went on ebay to find the book. As with most books, there is so much more in it than in the movie. I give fannie a 5 plus star rating on the wonderful work she put into this novel.
