    Navigating the Medical Maze Without Added Injury

    This superb books starts off with a medical quiz. Although I thought I was not naive when it came to medical care, I quickly discovered that what I did not know about what I did not know covered a vast area. This book is a keeper. It will be of inestimable help to you if you glance at it before any encounter with the medical system. Written in a simple and occasionally humorous fashion, it's checklists and How-To approach will protect you from being one of the 150,000 deaths created annually by preventable medical errors.

    The book is exactly as described. Would highly recomme

    We are interested in health and we saw Dr. Oz on the Oprah Show. He is very easy to understand and we like what he says. That was the reason we bought this book. It is very interesting and we recommend it, for the many people interested in health, to read.

    A must-have book for everyone

    I bought a few of these books to give to my parents, sister-in-laws, etc....if you have been hospitalized or have a relative who has this is really a must have book to help you get the best care. I bought it for my sister-in-laws (and husband) when my mother-in-law had surgery and was hospitalized.

    You:The Smart Patient

    This book is written in a very entertaining style,funny but very informative. This was one of the first times I have read a non-fiction book that hasn't bored me silly in the first couple pages.

    You the Patient

    This book is tremendous! Just as recommended on Oprah! It's written in layman's terms and gives a ton of inside information to equip the patient to facilitate the best care from the medical profession. A necessary read for all!
