À propos de ce produit

Product Information

The wildlife of Africa's Serengeti National Park is available for examination and admiration in Wild Earth: African Safari. Eleven different missions send gamers through the savannah to snap photographs of some of the continent's most remarkable wildlife. There are more than 30 different animals to observe, from familiar fauna like elephants, lions, and zebras, to obscure creatures like hyraxes, suricates, and pangolins. Eleven mini-games let players view the world from the animals' perspective, and the Impact Meter makes the Wii Remote rumble if gamers are disturbing the natural habitat. Cooperative gameplay gives up to four players the chance to explore the wilderness together, with one player driving while the others snap photographs.

  • Unique, relaxing and family friendly

If you're looking for something that's a little outside the norm for games, then you're looking at the right game. Wild Earth: African Safari is both entertaining and relaxing. And be careful, you might also learn something! The game has 11 missions that cross a wide variety of African terrain while you are taking photographs and observing the little stories that take place naturally in wildlife. The best part is that most of the missions feel really unique on their own. I love the mission where you're looking for warthogs and cheetahs while storm clouds are brewing overhead. It just really captures how huge the Serengeti is. Of course, the Jeep missions are always fun, especially in Co-op mode. Even after you go through the missions, I still go back and play them to get better ...

  • Wild Earth: African Safari

The game is very informative about different animal behaviors. The gameplay is simple, you as a photographer need to take pictures of wild animal behavior in Africa. It is easy and quick to learn the controls. Objectives in the game vary, thus providing a mixture of learning about both animals and the plantlife that is native to Africa. Because of it's simple gameplay the game is relatively easy to finish within a few hours. However, if you enjoy animals and observing realistic behavior, as well as seeing real places in Africa, I would definitely recommend this game.

  • Great game for elementary learning!

I love to play this with my six year old son. He adores the action of the search for all of the animals; however, I have to sit with him as he plays, since he cannot read all of the prompts for what to hunt for. His 2 1/2 year old brother also loves to watch the animals on the screen--like going to the zoo for him! Would recommend for anyone with young kids.

  • Your Own Discovery Channel

This game is SO realistic! The sounds you hear, the way the animals move, even the wrinkles on the elephants....everything is so neat! The photography missions are pretty specific I think, so you better pay close attention to the details around you. And make sure you respect the animals' space, because most of the ones I've encountered will tolerate you....at a distance.

  • Wild Earth: African Safari (Wii)

Purchased this game thinking that it a "shooting game". Purchased separately a gun attachment as Christmas gifts. My kids initial reaction was confusion when they realized that they were shooting pictures of an African Safari. Really had a good laugh at my expense, which together with the game added to a laugh filled fun evening. All in all, we enjoyed this game.
