The program wouldn't accept the letters for the activation code, only the numbers. I tried a few times with no results. I informed the seller, who gracefully refunded my money. His gesture was very courteous since he didn't accept refunds. The program was obviously unusable if it couldn't be activated.

Inframan widescreen is great fun.
When my VHS Inframan, recorded in extralong play, began to fail, I looked for a copy on DVD. That the DVD I bought is presented in widescreen is the icing on the cake, especially as a really gross part I wanted to show my young sons was cut out of the picture on my pan-and-scan VHS tape. You know: where the bug monster's head pops? So that's awesome. I'm a little baffled as to why they call this DVD Super Inframan, though. When I saw the movie in the theatre with my Dad in the seventies, it was called Inframan, and so was the VHS tape version. That doesn't really matter, though. It's like Jack Finney's novel The Body Snatchers being released as Invasion of the Body Snatchers because that's what they called the movie adaptations. Still, the above reflection does give rise to a question: Why do people find it necessary to tamper with titles? Is a name changed in an attempt excite the interest of the target market? To appeal to the lowest common denominator? In the case of Inframan, is it so the DVD can sit on the shelf near Superman? I confess I do find the habit nettling. Nevertheless I'll let my rating of five stars out of five stand, and flatter myself that any shopper will take notice. Who knows, a little digging may reveal that Super Inframan was the original title, although this seems unlikely since Inframan was a Chinese response to the popularity of the Japanese Ultraman. Or, ah -- was that Super Ultraman?

Inframan=GENIUS.
Lordy Lordy. Inframan is by far one of the best Eastern Superhero movies I've ever seen. It's also quite historically important, given that it is the very first Chinese Superhero Movie EVER. The action is fantastic, there isn't a moment of dullness, and everything and everyone tends to explode at the drop of a hat. Is that a bad thing? NO! It is just the opposite! Watching people fly around everywhere with funky movement kicking and punching each other in the face is instantly amusing. Zany, fun and a good storyline attached, Inframan is well worth any Tokusatu fan's purchase.Lordy Lordy. Inframan is by far one of the best Eastern Superhero movies I've ever seen. The grandfather to Power Rangers. Great movie.
Just what I wanted and remembered: a guy in a red suit with big blue bug eyes doing kung fu on guys in rubber suits and blowing them up. Spot on.

A it is still a good show
I would have gave it 5 stars but the volume goes down in one part of the movie but it is still good it adds to my Shaw brothers collection

Inframan rules in a world of low bandwith
Infra means "beneath" or "below", as in "infra-red" or "infra-structure". Why did they name Inframan, Inframan? This movie is beneath all reproach. Super Inframan is super-beneath all criticism, as it exists in a world of infra-critical concepts and pseudo-japanese cyborg show homage. In a world of foxy demon-women and foam-rubber robo-monsters, Inframan is the logical answer to all problems...Indeed, he is the only possible answer.Infra means "beneath" or "below", as in "infra-red" or "infra-structure".
