Rio Cali
I already owned a Rio Cali (256MB) and have had great success using it via auxiliary jack in my car as well as at the gym. It's durable and easy to use. I wanted another one for variety's sake because I don't believe in spending hundreds of dollars on a player because 1) hundreds / thousands of songs are too cumbersome to manage and 2) mp3 players get broken, lost, and stolen. The 128 MB player had an extension card so I was able to get close to 60 songs on it. I put a stereo deck with an auxilary jack in my boat and now I have two devices with about 150 songs to choose from (no more messing with CD's on the water). It works great and I would recommend it to first time mp3 player users or anyone who feels the way I do about capacity and investment. A complaint I have is Rio's music ... I like players that take SD cards, though this one can only take 512 cards. When I bought it I didn't realize it has an FM tuner, too, Its sort of cute; my wife thought it was a tape measure which it very much resembles. Its a stop watch as well though I haven't used that feature yet. The biggest downside is it only plays MP3s; it won't play WMA files. And the toggle is easily jogged though selecting the lock button fixs the problem. The sound is as good as i can tell. If you buy it at a reasonable price and can accept the limitations, its a good functioning little player.I like players that take SD cards, though this one can only take 512 cards. Great MP3 Player
I already owned one of the Rio Cali Sport MP3 players for a few years. It works great. I used it daily at work & when I go running. Another perk is that is has a radio just in case you want to listen to something other than the songs you have put on it. I've been using the same rechargeable batteries since I bought it. Now I have purchased a second one. One to keep at work and one for at home for when I go running. It has internal memory, but you can add more with and SD card. Overall Great Transaction
I am very pleased with the Rio Cali Sport. It is more than enough for me as I don't download a lot of music and listen mainly to the radio. However I did want the option to have some of my favorite music on there. I use it at the gym everyday and have no problems with it at all. The sound quality is good. The battery seems to last longer than the refurbished one I previously purchased and paid more for.I am very pleased with the Rio Cali Sport. Really Fast Forward!
I've had The Rio Forge and this is the sport model. The fast forward rules!. I record 6 hour files and it's a must-have feature for me.
