LG Tone Platinum BT Headset
I've owned several types of Bluetooth nodes previously, and I found this particular model HBS-1100 to be everything I expected and more. I've read most of the 128 reviews for this headset, and I can say that me personally, haven't been plagued by any of the complaints that some folks have said. I realize they make newer models that can basically interact w/ Wi-Fi driven technologies, but I don't have that need. The 1100 is well made, comfortable to wear, easy to use and has superior sound to other like headsets. The Tone and Talk free app, supports various functions including text and voice directions, and calling. Features include current time alert, voice memo, reads recent messages. It has a find me function if misplaced, works great. The calling features include speed dial, favorites, ... It has a find me function if misplaced, works great. The calling features include speed dial, favorites, and call history. And then there's also the changing of the voice guidance language feature. So for me, whom works outdoors on a golf course under sometimes terrible conditions for BT connectivity, ( wind, rain, multiple nodes everywhere, etc. ) I must say that the sound, functionality, features, and cost, are all superior. Top it off w/ retractable earbuds ( Harmon-Kardon ) that hide the wiring inside the headset when not in use, all adds up to win, win, win. Awesome product for me or you. Thanks

This was a great buy indeed.
I bought these to compare them to a pair of infinims which I had for a couple weeks and they were definitely superior. I returned my infinims and have been happy with my pair of platinums until recently.. usually they would tell me when the battery was low, very low, etc. but I noticed them shut off all of a sudden and wouldn't turn back on and it didn't tell me the battery was low or anything. I get home and put them to charge for a few minutes, unplug them and turn them on, nothing. I just wanted to make sure they were still working. I leave them for a full hour and come back to try and turn them on, success. after using them for a few more days I noticed that it's a hit or miss with the warnings and it shut off on me when it told me it was on medium. other than that the cords seem to be ... DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING
This product is NOT an LG device. It is a cheap knock off. Deceptive advertising. In the product description, they list the LG info , but below that, they slip in their product info. Deceptive advertising and it really ticks me off. As far as I am concerned, this listing should be removed.

Ear cushions fall off.
Terrible design. The ear cushions fall off very easy.. I did not even get to use it 1 time. I charged it ..put it around my neck.. went about my daily routine .. went to use it and the cushion was gone. It did not come with any extra cushions nor did it come with directions of what each button is for.

Good.. but..
I bought this on recommendation as I was tired and annoyed with constantly using apple earphones to do conference calls. It is an excellent headset, discrete (fits under shirt collar) and has a good blue toooth connection. Only downside is I expected equal base to the apple earphones but this sounds a little tinnie for the money.
