If you like disaster movies, give it a try
As disaster movies go, ABSOLUTE ZERO is average. It gets a minus for the scenes in Antarctica with fake snow that were obviously shot on a Hollywood soundstage. It gets a plus for the lack of sex and gore. You can watch this with your entire family. There is only one scene, where a little girl sees her father die (quickly), that may upset young children. Yes, some characters die (there'd be little point in watching a disaster film where everyone emerges unscathed); but several characters survive. Half the fun in a film such as this is seeing who lives and who dies; disaster or horror movies where everyone gets picked off are just as boring --- and more depressing! --- than those in which, with brains and luck, somebody might make it through. The characters in ABSOLUTE ZERO keep ... As disaster movies go, ABSOLUTE ZERO is average. The creation of a room inside a Miami high-rise building that can protect its occupants from absolute zero temperature also strikes me as shaky science. A fun film for disaster fans, but not award-worthy.

great movies!
Many more like these must be made! How i wish today's filmakers would return to these wholesome storylines. There is joy, hope and compassion in each one. I do recomend this as its simply fun and endearing entertainment, minus all the foul language and other blots found in modern film.

"Absolute Zero"
There isn't much I can tell you about "Absolute Zero", because I haven't seen the movie yet. I bought it because it is a disaster movie and it is one I don't have in my growing collection. From the comments about the movie I can't wait to watch it and form my own opinion of the movie. After I have seen it I will come back and write a review of "Absolute Zero". As for my excellent rating, I start watching a movie with the expectation of excellence and hope I am not disapointed.There isn't much I can tell you about "Absolute Zero", because I haven't seen the movie yet. I bought it because it is a disaster movie and it is one I don't have in my growing collection. From the comments about the movie I can't wait to watch it and form my own opinion of the movie. After I have seen it I will come back and write a review of "Absolute Zero". As for my excellent rating, I start watching a movie with the expectation of excellence and hope I am not disapointed.

Global Warming - Ice Age - Happening in Miami!
Just when you thought it was safe! There is a global warming party in the beginning of this movie. Strange Earthquakes are taking place and Dr. Kotzmon and his research team are seeing this happening in Miami. They are in the middle of this strange storm. It all happened so quickly without warning (the magnitude). Their communication is cutoff and they need to find a way to survive and escape. Yes, Miami gets snow and ice!
