Very fun gameplay like any previous R&C games.
If you like the previous Ratchet & Clank games, you will like this. the game play is not too different from previous in the series and plays smoothly. You have you melee weapons and long range guns. each time you use those guns, it gains XP and levels up which opens up more upgrades for that gun. Each map has collectibles that help you unlock armors, certain special gun and cheat or special menu. This menu where you can change your weapons, the way currency look like, the way your ship looks like, infinite ammo etc. Gameplay did feel easier compare to previous game but maybe i played too many R&C games that i got use to it. there are no racing mini game like in the previous game such as hover board, they do have this one small creature that you use to ride really fast to get to the boss ... Story is also very engaging but felt bit shorter compare to previous game. There are collectible but very easy to find and i barely used any guide to help me. getting trophies and achievement is very very easy compare to previous games, i mean 2/10 difficulty. over all i enjoyed the game.

A love letter to gaming, just a beautiful blend of platforming action, shooting, racing and adventure, a top 5 ps5 game!

One of the best early PS5 games!
First, this is a HUGE leap from the 2016 R&C title! Honestly, I was not a Ratchet & Clank fan, but now I am. This is an action shooter with platforming elements. It’s essentially like playing a Pixar movie with seamless area changes, no loading or CPU lag due to PS5 processing power. Colorful, excellent audio, stellar gameplay and great story. Definitely a must have for a PS5 owner!

The Lombax Lives On!
Great game and continuation of the series! As someone who grew up playing the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games, I was compelled to join the struggle in buying a PS5 primarily to play this game (don't judge me). The graphics are terrific and the gameplay is very responsive. Some people have been mentioning that the story is lacking but I really liked it. For everyone who played previous Ratchet and Clank games, you'll definitely appreciate the nostalgia with enemies and weapons.Great game and continuation of the series!
