Battery Eater!!!
Pros: Absolutely love the illuminated keyboard. Keys are smooth and quiet. Setpoint software allows the assigning of certain functions to F keys and mouse buttons, very convenient. Mouse is rather large, but I find it comfortable and fairly easy to use. Setup was a breeze - literally plug and play. Cons: Both the keyboard and mouse flat eat up the batteries! The combo comes with a USB charging cable, however, if you leave it plugged in the keyboard illumination never turns off unless you turn it off manually. It's also inconvenient to use with the mouse. So...I leave one end connected to my keyboard and plug the other end into a USB port for charging when needed which, for me, has been about two to three times a week. I have a battery charger and a good supply of Ni-MH AA ... Pros: Absolutely love the illuminated keyboard. Keys are smooth and quiet. Summary: If you don't find the cons to be much of a setback I would recommend this combo. I bought a factory refurbished unit for half the price and it works perfectly, so you can save some money there if you wish. Would I buy it again? Yes, I would. Hope this was helpful! ;-)

Smooth and Precise. Does not disappoint.
Great quality and function. The best wireless keyboard and mouse I've ever used. Smooth and responsive. My purchase was prompted to replace an 8 year old wired keyboard to use an HP docking station. Interestingly the old keyboard drew more power than the docking station provided via the USB port. During my 8-year ownership, I tried multiple times to move to a wireless keyboard and mouse combination. Each time I was disappointed with the smoothness as they were both spotty as far as typing and mousing. This keyboard does not disappoint and now I wish I'd purchased this keyboard/mouse combo the second they came out.Great quality and function. The best wireless keyboard and mouse I've ever used. Keyboard OK, mouse sort of sucks
So far the keyboard is OK - like the light-up keys and all of that works great. I got this one from a refurbished supplier for around $80. The keyboard combo is worth that, but not $160 or whatver it goes for new. It's a keyboard and a mouse. It doesn't have to be that expensive. I also have $30 Logitech keyboards that will do 99% the same thing, but don't light up. The downside to the refurb unit was that it had dried coffee - or some other beverage on the back side, and was generally dirty. Also the documentation was missing from the box. If you can stand that, paying half retail price is probably the best way to get this combo set, Don't pay more than that. The mouse is much too big and clunky for me - I've used it a couple weeks and still I'm not used to it yet, I wish this ... I know some people like the big clunky mouse and I tried - but it is always getting in the way. I have no apps that make use of the extra keys, or at least nothing I use would make use of them, realistically. I know some people running Autocad or games make good use of the extra mouse keys, so that's nice. Linux Mint / Ubuntu 16.04 has a nice surprise - just plugging in the combo set brings up a nice little battery monitor widget on the status bar that shows you the state of the keyboard and mouse battery charge. The only issue there is when the mouse is charged 100%, that status app shows the charge level to be 0%. Oops. All in all the keyboard is good - I still haven't warmed up the the big clunky mouse yet.

Review of Logitech Wireless Performance Combo MX800 Illuminated Wireless Keyboard-Mouse
It took several tries with other Sellers first tried to get the correct board mailed to me that illuminated and when I saw it on Ebay I ordered the product from them and the correct one came. What a relief of no further going back and forth with mailing the incorrect board and mouse back to their Seller to finally get the one that works. My husband's office is very dark, so the illuminated keyboard which I only first heard of about a year ago (I am not very "techy") was a sure hit for his office. I could finally see the keyboard when I had to peek because of mis-hitting a particular keystroke. Would have given all "yes" reviews above but could not get these buttons to all stick at once. Great product! Best keyboard and mouse I've ever owned
I wanted a backlit keyboard for working in dim light and for visibility. It works perfect and types quietly and smoothly. The mouse is awesome! I have been using cheap ones for years. This fits perfectly in your hand with the smoothest operation. I absolutely love it!
