    THE Maui Guidebook - Must Have!

    When we began planning our trip to Maui, I knew this was the book I wanted. As we had been to Kauai a few years ago and borrowed Doughty's Kauai guidebook (ended up carrying it with us everywhere and had to buy our friend's a new one,) I knew I liked his style. Andrew Doughty lives in the places he writes guidebooks about. Not just for a couple of months, but for a couple of years. He doesn't just give you a well-planned, detailed book of great places to see and things to do, he also tells you what time of day, what time of year, etc. is best to see the place. He makes it his business to seek out new places that have been previously missing from other Maui guidebooks, and continually updates his guidebook so you will know if a road is now open that used to be closed to the public. ...

    Excellent - Best Book on Visiting Maui

    I purchased this book in a local bookstore, wish I had realized it was such a winner I could have bought it on ebay for 1/2 the price! This book is VERY well done with pro's and con's of visiting different spots and sights on Maui. It gives excellent suggestions and tells you everything you need to know about visiting the Island of Maui. I have read all the Maui tourism books and this one is at the top of my list! Concise, easy to read guides, From someone who has spent plenty of time researching all the sights! Excellent all the way around!

    MAUI REVEALED

    THIS BOOK IS A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO THEW ISLAND OF MAUI AND THREE SMALLER, SURROUNDING ISLANDS. THE BOOK COVERS SUCH AREAS AS DINING, ACCOMODATIONS AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS, BUT THE AUTHORS DO NOT PULL ANY PUNCHES; IF THEY HAVE ISSUES WITH ANYTHING, THEY SAY WHAT THE ISSUES ARE. THE BOOK IS SET IN AN ORDERLY MANNER WHICH TAKES THE READER ON A WRITTEN TOUR OF THE ISLAND. IT WAS VERY HELPFUL IN ASSISTING US IN THE PLANNNG OF OUR VACATION TO THE ISLAND. I FEEL IT WOULD BE AN ASSET TO ANYONE PLANNING A TRIP TO THE ISLAND. ASSIDE FROM IT PRACTICAL USE, IT WAS A FUN BOOK TO READ. I HOPE OTHERS ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DID.

    Maui Revealed - The Ultimate Guidebook

    The author really tells it like it is. The book is organized in such a way that it's easy to find a quick reference. Maps are very detailed and clear. Looking forward to first-hand look at the accuracy of this guide.

    Informative Guidebook

    Bought this book because my wife and I are planning a trip to Maui in the near future. The price was a few dollars cheaper on EBAY than elsewhere and was touted to be in excellent condition, although used. The book looked new and it is the best guidebook for yravelling that I have ever seen. Wonderful exacting information about every aspect of visiting Maui. I definitely would buy another book in this series about the different islands of Hawaii.
