Thought I was buying a copy I could download and save on my PC
I had never bought a digital copy before and thought it was downloadable and I would have the movie on my PC to view when I wanted. Turns out it is only online and has to stream each time you watch so netflix would be a better choice for the price. You have to log in to the Company's web site to view. Not a good deal when you can order the DVD for a couple dollars more.

Gritty, realistic, and well acted war drama packs a punch!
Fury is a very realistic look at the crew of a U.S. Sherman tank towards the end of WWII. They are a very tight-knit group until one of the crewmen gets killed in combat and a new replacement is assigned to take his place. The commander of the tank uses some extreme tough-love techniques to toughen the young recruit up enough so that he will be able to face the horrors of combat. During a rest area in a recently-taken German town we see another side of the sergeant when he helps arrange a tryst between the recruit and a friendly German young woman. The climax of the movie occurs when the tank and its crew try to single-handedly block an SS battalion from attacking the behind-lines area of the tank's regiment. All in all this is probably the most realistic look at WWII combat ... Fury is a very realistic look at the crew of a U.S. Sherman tank towards the end of WWII. Hard Core History
A movie that depicts the "Sherman" tank in combat with the far superior German tanks,, thousands of American troops died in the Sherman, nick named "The Ronson" after the ronson cigarette lighter the troops used because it "lit on the first try".. I do not believe that the FU*K word was used by that generation, and it is used way too much in this movie.

Great Picture, War movie as it was in true to life.
Lot of action. Movie had a good true to life plot. War tank movie of the Sherman tank, and their weakness. A coffin on wheels. I am a old timer, and was glad to see that they replaced them. Cannon fire was weak I believe 73 MM. They use to fight in packs to defect the Heavy duty Germany tanks. Very good movie as far as war movies are. It show the good and the bad. No one wins in a war. The war fighting using tracer Ammo was out standing. I recommend this movie. They did not use Body bags at that time.Lot of action. Movie had a good true to life plot. Great War Movie
Great War Movie - good story line - great acting - kept your attention on the edge of your seat the whole movie. WOW. Glad I could watch it and not have to live through that war. Hats off to our World War II veterans - freedom fighters that deserve our appreciation. A must see. Phil
