    Pentax K-X DSLR almost new

    This is a Pentax K-X in pristine condition. I have not checked to see if any shutter count, but it snaps a shutter most quickly and provides a clear image on the viewer. I have an older K-X that my grandson has started to use so this was purchased as a backup for me since I also have a K-3. With one exception, all is good with this little DSLR. That problem being the internal body rattles when you shake the camera. Not just the mirror but the entire solid non-exterior apparatus. Something is not attaching the internal body to the frame. Some how it does not affect the picture produced. But this likely why the original owner re-boxed it and left it in their closet in about 2009. I think the camera being a Pentax K-X in new condition is good enough to keep it. It's small in my hand, can be ...

    Small and pocketable, solid image quality and awesome retro looks.

    I'm loving my MX-1 so far. It looks great, fits easily into my jacket pocket, and allows me to take photos during daily life I would never be able to (because I avoid lugging around my full-size DSLR). Image quality is solid, the build quality is good, and the functionality is easy to get used to, especially as a long-time Pentax user. My only qualms: zooming has to be done using a tab by the trigger rather than a zoom ring, and the exposure bias seems to hardly help with point light metering. Recommended purchase, either way.

    K-x is Revision after 1 week of use

    Perfect Camera for the price... I was deciding between NIKON D5000 (My daughter has one, $849 by June/09) and a Pentax K-x ($549 by Feb/2010), almost similar cameras. I'm really satisfied with the 4.7 fps continuous shooting up to fill the buffer (According to specs, 17 pictures), however, using a 4Gb, 30Mbps class 6 SANDISK extreme memory I'm getting up to 22/25 continuous shooting. The major concern in the reviews was the lack of focus points... I don't found any problem with this. I just switch to one point AF when taking action pictures. A very Powerful and convenience feature is that use Normal AA batteries. That means one charger less and you can find batteries any place in the planet. I get more that 1800 shots with the original Lithium batteries and approximately 500 shots with ...

    Great value and quality for money. Excelent camera

    First of all I must say this is my first dslr, so i can't actually compare it with other cameras. But nevertheless, this definitely is wonderful camera. I bought this because I love photography, and i finally managed to buy dslr, and move from point & shoot cameras. And what a shock that was... Let me just say from the moment i got it, my wife's accusing me of totally neglecting her... All i do is shoot, read photography manuals and literature, play with shoots in camera raw and photoshop, and then just admiring my beautiful photos.     Pentax K-x

    I was in the market to find the cheapest price DSLR that still shot HD video. This met the standards and I am very happy with the purchase. The lenses for it are on ebay at reasonable prices and Pentax on-line customer support is fantastic. They all so have a great forums section that I frequent with great tricks and tips. This camera has more features that I would ever use but I'm glad that they're their. I will be a loyal Pentax customer for life. If you have the extra money, which I didn't, I would have bought the K-7. But you can't beat the price for quality for this camera.
