    Blue's Room Alphabet Power

    My son loves the character Blue, but his favorite is Sprinkles. I didn't realize that the older episodes did not have Sprinkles, Blue's baby brother, in them. I also didn't know there were Blue's Clue's episodes on the dvd as well. Over all I am happy with my purchase and have no problem with the quality, content, etc. However my son doesn't watch them as much as the newer episodes we TIVO. The older episodes are not as good as the newer ones, but I'm not the one who has to watch them:) I purchased them because the minute the 2006/2007 commercials would come on for the show, he would stare and laugh really hard. We let him (now 1)watch the first few episodes to see if he'd like it, and he DID! Therefore we decided for his 1st birthday (April) we would buy him some

    Blue's Room - Alphabet Power - A must have for children

    My kids love this video! They had the VHS and when it finally wore out, I had to buy it again...this time I bought the DVD. Hopefully it will last until they outgrow it. The music and characters are fantastic. Both of my kids learned their alphabets by the age of 3 with the help of Blue and all her friends. My 3 year old even began writing his name without anyone teaching him, because he learned his letters from the endless hours of watching this video. For other recommendations: I highly recommend Blue's Shapes and Colors DVD as well. The 3 year old already recognizes octagons, if that gives you any idea how much they love and watch this DVD.

    A GREAT HELP IN LEARNING ALPHABET !

    My son absolutely loves this movie. He actually had one on VHS and it broke so we bought this DVD. He is in kindergarten and knew all his alphabet before he started. This DVD helped him with the phonics portion too. He learned what words to associate with what letters and the sounds that each make. On one of his report card exams, he was required to give a word that started with each letter of the alphabet and he gave her the words that he had learned from the alphabet train song. He also loves the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom part of this video. He has this book and he would read along with the Blues Clues characters.

    Incorrect description...It pause when played

    The case itself is not considered a “very good” condition bec it looks old and faded and it won’t even snap well. That’s not really a big deal but I’m disappointed that it pause several times in one of the episode.

    Blue's - Alphabet Power

    I would rate this as an excellent video for kids. My daughter is 2.5 years old and she loves it! She always goes to get the box and asks to watch it. It is very educational which I require and its great at teaching kids their ABC's and also to pronounce and spell words. A definite must if you want a fun way to for your kids to learn. Its also an extra plus if they already like Blue's Clues.
