Although I was concerned about the "no return" policy, I chose to deal in Canada. It was taking a chance but the Garmin Fenix 6 did arrive quickly and on time and it has performed as a new unit should. The options and activities/reports are amazing. I haven't used the maps specifically but mapping turns up in my activity report. So far, I have not seen any real benefit to the Solar feature even though I expose the watch to the sun routinely. This Fenix 6 was priced very reasonably.

How do they fit so many cool things in a watch
The Garmin Fenix 6 pro Solar has a lot good features long battery life, easy to read in the sunlight, change watch faces to your liking. Track just about any activity you want. Notifications from my IPhone come through and are easy to read. The one thing I dislike the most is you cannot read the screen indoors very well. You have to push the light button so it takes both hands. I tried different settings, colors didn’t help much. A little on the heavier side for a watch but, it’s packed with a ton of features.The Garmin Fenix 6 pro Solar has a lot good features long battery life, easy to read in the sunlight, change watch faces to your liking. Fenix 6 Pro Solar
Great watch. The solar option is one feature that sold me on it. I have the Enduro which has the same option. Love the topi maps as well. It does everything I need and then some.

Great Watch but Features Can Consumer the Batter Fast
Love the body battery, Walker and music features of the femix6 pro. For me the extra money for the 7 was not worth it. Be aware that when running the music, an external heart monitor strap and a power meter on my bike the watch event through “3 days” or about 21% of its power - now I make sure it’s fully charged before doing long events when I’m using all those features at once. But I still love the watch and am glad I bought it at this price- best online anywhere. Love the body battery, Walker and music features of the femix6 pro. Such a good watch it's even good for elederly non-athletes
The Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar at 47mm is a perfect size for my smaller wrist (6.5 ") but has all the info of the larger model and more battery life than the 6s. Easy enough to see all the details and light on the wrist. I am a 72 year old Great Grandmother and I am wearing this watch day and night to keep track of my health stats, steps and to help me keep active. Also to keep me alert to where I am out in the world with the navagation features. This watch has so many features that I know I won't use them all, but my granddaughter might if it goes to her in the future!
