Excellent Deterent for the $$!
The sensitivity seems to be pretty good. Just held it flush onto the window pane without removing the adhesive backing. Then just very lightly tapped on the window in several places with my index finger. Close and further away from its location. Went off every time. I think the only downside to this product is that there should not be an on/off switch that is so easily accessible. Should be activated/deactivated by remote control. Any intruder that has knowledge of these products will easily have ample time to kill it within a matter of seconds. Either that, or the contact should be a "latching" type. They work
These seem to work quite well. They pick up on vibration and alarm. Once during a strong wind when the window rattled one of the alarms activated and a second time when a window blind was accidentally dropped against the window. Waiting to report on battery life and ease of changing batteries. Alarm is load and most likely would make any intruder decide it's time to leave. VERY GOOD PRODUCT
I purchased this Doberman Security Slim window alarms and am really happy with the purchase. I tested them all and everyone worked fine. No problems!. Applied them to the windows and went outside and gently shook the windows, alarm sounded. Then in the opposite corner I tapped on the window and once again alarms sounded. Obne evening there was a terrible thunderstorm that shook the house. BUT no alarms went off and I am glad of that, No false alarms. There were 3 windows of concern. I had an extra one. I've been having bear issues. First, bird feeder was stolen never to be seen again. Second bird feeder was trashed. Luckily I did not buy these feeders, they were left by the last home owner, old and not sqyuirrel proof. I bought a good one from Brome the squirrel buster. Bear got to it. I ...
