    Good visit to New Orleans in the mid 1800's

    If you like New Orleans in the mid-1800's, these are for you. Easy read. Lots of good historical detail but not enough to get weighty. Weren't born in the mid-1800's in New Orleans? read these books and go there.

    The novel is well worth your taking the time to read.

    I have enjoyed most books that I have read by Barbara Hambly, and this book proved to be just as exceptional as the others. It is an authentic depiction of a side of American history.
