À propos de ce produit

Product Information

You live in the real world... A world of work... of play... of travel... Sony adds life to your world, whether you're: at home... at work... on the road... on the go... Your world... Your Sony. Not only is this model the only digital still camera in the world with image stabilization, it also features the only through-the-lens color LCD viewfinder on a digital still camera and a superior combination of optical zoom and picture resolution - 10x optical zoom and 2.1 megapixels. So whether you're at the ballpark or in your backyard, you'll be capturing subjects with far greater detail. And whether you're taking an extra-long telephoto shot or an extreme close-up, Sony SteadyShot offers the picture stability you're looking for.The camera delivers an image in excess of two million pixels. The more pixels you have, the more detailed your pictures will be. If you want rich, captivating colors and dazzling detail, pixel count is one of the features you should focus on. 10x optical zoom lens with auto focus and auto macro capability makes sure every shot is picture perfect. The powerful zoom lens gives you the flexibility and precision you need to capture professionally-polished images. If you like to get close to your subjects, use auto macro for shots up to 1 inch from your subject. Advanced HAD CCD Hole Accumulation Diode CCD reduces noise in the video signal to improve signal-to-noise ratio by up to 6dB (2x better than a standard CCD). The Solar Window Panel, located behind the large, full-color LCD screen, captures ambient light so the screen doesn't "wash out", even in difficult lighting conditions. The screen prevents eyestrain by letting you preview your shots right on the camera back. InfoLithium battery with AccuPower meter lets you know the amount of power remaining in the battery to within 1 minute of accuracy. The lithium-ion battery also recharges faster and resists memorization far better than nickel-cadmium batteries. Intelligent flash provides the perfect amount of flash for optimum brightness and color accuracy in any lighting conditions. Black-and-White and Sepia modes enhance your creativity with the ability to take black and white photos, or switch to Sepia mode for that old-time look. Built-in flash with red-eye reduction provides automatic or manual control at the touch of a button to capture low-light images. The pre-flash mode virtually eliminates bothersome "red eye" effects on snapshots.

Avis les plus pertinents

  • Worth it if the price is right, but if you have time&a bit more $ get FD97

These camera's have one of the best lenses you will find on a 2 mpixel camera. With the 10x optical zoom you have the opportunity to zoom without taking a cut in resolution. If you need it you can get 2x more (20x zoom total) digital zoom. I have used the Mavica's for years so this was an upgrade in picture quality (my older Mavica was 2 mpixel but did not have as good a lens nor so much zoom ability However there are a few reasons to prefer the mcv-fd97 over the fd95. If you are lucky you can find a mvc-fd95 that includes the adapter to allow you to save pictures on a memorystick. But it is painfully slow and does not give you the ability to save as an uncompressed file. The direct memory stick on the fd97 does not have these limitations. The floppy disk is still a good method, and ...

  • Slow to reset but takes excellent pictures.

I like the 20X zoom, and the fact that it uses floppy disks which is very convenient and also uses a memory card as an option. What I don't like about it is that it's very slow in processing the shot before it's ready to take the next shot. Also if you're using a floppy instead of a memory card, you'll be replacing the floppy every four or ten shots if you want quality pictures, although you can take as much as 30 shots per floppy if you're not too concerned about high quality shots.

  • Sony Mavica MVC FD95

I already had the MVC-FD92, its a great camera but it has a couple things I would have changed, with the FD95 I got those changes, and its amazing what a small differance it makes to me. Using the 20 zoom makes a differance over the 16 zoom I have on the FD92. I am an avid, amateur photographer, and I love taking pictures that attract the heart, the soul, and the beauty of a simple theme. I shoot thousands of pics weekly and live in a area of Arizona where I can travel to the desert or mountains within a hours drive of home. This camera is rugged and allows for many hours of wonder pictures, as long as I have the memory, I have pictures. It can be used with 3 1/2 inch floppys, I get 20 to 30 pics per floppy, depending on my settings. My FD95 also came with the floppy adapter that alows ...

  • Oldie But Goodie Sony FD95

This is one of Sony's best camera's when they were made. It is an older camera, but has some functions that are ahead of their time. Very easy to use and master the different options the camera has to offer. It is great for taking up close still photo's and very easy to upload to my computer. The only thing I do not like and it is not a big problem is it's size. In today's world it seems like smaller is better. It is huge compared to these small camers's. But for me it really doen't matter. All in all this is a super older Sony that I hope to keep for years to come. Hope this helps Thanks

  • Sony Mavica MVC FD95

I originally had the Mavica FD91 for over 10 years and had great pictures and never had any problems with the camera. While looking here on Ebay I found the Mavica FD95 and bought in May of 2006 and the Zoom is the Greatest feature. The camera is so easy to use and the picture quality is excellent. I have been taking pictures for over 30 years and have had many camera and rate this the best. I never use my $1800.00 Minolta 35mm any more. You can see your pictures right now and if isn't right can delete and take another. Floppies are cheap and I take my pictures and download to My Pictures and then later burn to CD's that you can view on your DVD player. Comparing my last Mavica FD91 to the FD95 the picture quality is much better, Zoom is greater, flash goes futher and the camera focus in ...
