Namco Bandai's long-running Tales RPG series continues as players head to the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together, and take control of either the smart young medical student Jude Mathis, or the mysterious Milla Maxwell, who can control the four great spirits. The action takes players to the Kingdom of Rashugal, where a powerful energy source is draining the world of its mana. Gamers freely make their way through 3D environments, visiting towns, forests, mountains, and caves, and choosing whether they want to engage in real-time battles.<br><br>Players can have up to six other characters in their travelling party, though only four may participate in combat. Battles take place in screens that mimic the surrounding area, and new for Tales of Xillia is the ability to link together with another character to form a battle unit and perform special attacks. Gamers earn experience and level up their stats through battles, they can unlock a variety of skills using the special Lilium Orb, and animated skits periodically provide more insight into the characters' personalities and their relationships with one another. Players can also head into towns to sell or purchase items at shops, meet interesting new characters, and take on a variety of side quests.

Great game and great collectors edition
Just what I wanted. The collectors edition came in super good condition. I've been wanting this collectors edition for so long. Glad I was able to get one.

A must have for Tales of fans and figures collectors.
Havent played the game yet, due to my line of games. But its turn will come soon. The extra goods from the CE are totally worth it. The figure of course is the main star; beautiful and extremely detailed. If you are into figures, specially cute girls ones, its for sure a nice one for your collection. The art book is also amazing and done in top quality paper. It portraits all characters concepts, facial expressions and scenarios. Absolutely awesome!
I have been a fan of the Tales series since I first got a chance to play Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World. It was my first game, but I absolutely loved the story, the characters, the graphics. Everything was just beautifully done. So, when I saw that this game was coming out I had to get it. It's my very first owned game out of the series and I love it. I can't wait to play Tales of Xillia 2 and definitely can't wait till I get my collectors edition of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.I have been a fan of the Tales series since I first got a chance to play Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World. Worth the buy
The game was excellent, any "Tales of" fan would love to get their hands on this. Even as an import it was still an amazing game, even if you can not understand the Japanese dialog, you still can convey the emotions through the characters from the cut scenes, and the battle system is almost flawless, I never wanted to stop playing. Though the cast of characters didn't quite grasp me as much as the cast of Tales of Vesperia, things get pretty intense between them.The game was excellent, any "Tales of" fan would love to get their hands on this.
