    Creative Cloth Doll Couture

    Patti Medaris Culea is an extremely talented doll artisan. This book is an excellent guide for making doll clothes for soft sculptured dolls, which is my newest hobby. The fashions of the 40's was incredible and the main reason I purchased this book---the cover doll looked and dressed like my mom. The very detailed instructions along with photos and/or illustrations make the patterns that are included in this book easy to understand. The only gripe I have with this book is that I wish they had not skipped over the fashions of the 50's---poodle skirts, sweater sets, etc. ALso included in this book is a lovely doll pattern and great instructions on sewing and designing clothes for these little fashionable art dolls.

    Patt's books are always in depth and easy to follow.

    Creative Cloth Doll Couture by Patti Medaris Culea

    I have never seen a book like this. It has very informative, detailed, descriptive information on how to make a "curvasious" doll and beautiful clothes. There are a few different versions of the doll and detailed information on the "how to's" for each one. Also there are about 12 pages-plus of patterns for accessories and clothes. The book is about 10" x 12" inches in size, semi-hard book. It has wonderful large colorful pictures showing each step. The directions are step by step and easy to follow. Some of these patterns are for very beautiful dolls, such as a fancy fairy. The book describes how to use beading, hair, and painting different faces. Each doll is an artwork in it self in design. The person that wrote this book and designed these dolls has to be a extremely talented ...

    Doll Couture made simple

    I love this book, filled with much information made so simple, even i can understand it. I was attracted to the title and the front cover of this book. very well done. easy to follow instructions and the most wonderful pictures. excellent artists, excellent book.thank you Patti Medaris Culet, for sharing your talent.
